Spill containment barriers have become one of the best valued alternatives for the industry due to the numerous advantages they present over other systems.
As its name suggests, the function of spill containment barriers is to prevent contaminating liquids produced in a spill from reaching the vulnerable environment.
They are mainly used in chemical warehouses to comply with APQ regulations.
Types of containment barriers we manufacture
Depending on the type of operation, there are two main types of barriers: Pneumatic & manual barriers.
PNEUMATIC BARRIERS
Actuated by one or more pistons which are controlled by a push-button on a control panel. Upon request, the pneumatic barriers can incorporate an automation system. This system allows the barriers to be activated autonomously in the event of an emergency, without the presence of personnel.
For the containment system to be valid, it must be as autonomous as possible. In case of emergency there will hardly be an operator to activate each of the barriers and, therefore, we have designed different automatic activation systems.
– In-house production
– Several models available
– Possibility of automatic activation
– Suitable for loading docks
– Different heights available

MANUAL BARRIERS
They are placed manually. Recommended for doors with limited access for personnel.
– In-house and custom manufacturing
– Various heights available
– Manual positioning
